How to send a copyright takedown notice, what it must contain, and how counter-notices are handled.
Our position
We publish original guides and link to third-party stores and platforms. We do not host pirated game files, mods, cheats or leaked assets. If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice through the contact page with the subject “DMCA notice”.
What a notice must contain
A valid notice should include all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
- The exact URL of the allegedly infringing material on this site.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake, send a counter-notice through the same channel with your contact details, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake, and consent to the jurisdiction of the courts that apply to the site operator.
Designated agent
Copyright notices are handled by the site operator. Use the contact page with the subject “DMCA notice”; that subject reaches the person responsible for copyright requests.
Repeat infringement
We may remove content and restrict access for users or contributors who repeatedly infringe copyright. We keep a record of valid notices and removals.
