How to buy 6,480 Genesis Crystals for the least money

The 6,480 pack is the one players compare most, and the one stores discount most differently. Four numbers decide which offer wins.

The 6,480 pack is the largest standard Genesis Crystal top-up, and it is where the gap between the official store and authorized resellers is most visible. The sticker price is not enough to compare offers: tax treatment, the bonus crystals included in the pack and the one-time first-purchase bonus all change the real cost.

This guide walks through the comparison in the order that matters, without pretending that a price seen today will still be there next week.

Start with the total units, not the price

A 6,480 pack may include bonus crystals, and resellers sometimes sell the same pack without the bonus. Divide the total payment by the total units to get a cost per unit, then scale it to 100 units so packs of different sizes are comparable.

If the pack grants 6,480 base crystals and 1,600 bonus crystals, the denominator is 8,080 units, not 6,480. A cheaper-looking offer that drops the bonus can lose once you divide.

Check whether tax is already in the price

US storefronts commonly show a pre-tax price and add state tax at checkout. Japanese and Korean storefronts usually show a tax-inclusive price. Comparing a pre-tax US price with a tax-inclusive JP price without adjustment is the most common mistake in top-up comparisons.

The calculator has a tax basis switch for exactly this reason. Use “prices as listed” when the store shows the final charge, and “add local tax” when it does not.

Price the first purchase separately

The first-purchase bonus is granted once per account. On a single large pack it can be the best value you will ever get; on the fifth pack of the same month it is worth nothing.

Toggle the bonus on and off in the calculator. If the bonus is the only reason an offer wins, buy it once and switch back to the cheaper per-unit channel for the rest.

Compare the official store with authorized resellers

Authorized resellers often price below the official store because they buy in bulk or operate in a different currency region. They can also lag behind a price cut, or add a service fee at checkout. The ranking table shows the checked date for every row so you can see how fresh the comparison is.

Only the official store and channels that pay the publisher are included. Third-party top-up shops that ask for your password are excluded, regardless of price.

Frequently asked questions

Is the biggest pack always the cheapest per crystal?

Usually, but not always once you include bonus units, tax and reseller pricing. Compare cost per 100 units for the exact pack you intend to buy.

Can I use a cheaper region’s store?

Only if your account and payment method genuinely belong to that region. Storefronts verify the payment country, and a mismatch can hold or reverse the order.

Why do two channels show different bonus crystals?

The publisher sets the pack contents; resellers sometimes sell the base pack without the in-game bonus. The table records the bonus units per row so the comparison stays honest.
